1) Plug in the device and insert the RJ45 cable in the 10BaseT port at the back of the device.
2) Plug in the power cable in Power Connector.
3) Make sure that the ACT LED at the back of the device is blinking and not steady or not lit.

Basic configuration of Cisco ATA using voice menu

1) Attach a RJ11 cable to the phone port at the back of the Cisco ATA and connect another end to RJ11 port of the telephone instrument.
2) Pickup the telephone handset and press the function key on the top of the device

Steps to configure Cisco ATA :-

Steps to configure Cisco ATA :-

1) If DHCP is set as 0 Then you have to enter the Static IP , Static route or gateway and Static netmask.
2)  If DHCP is set as 1 then you don’t have to enter the Static IP , Static route or gateway and Static netmask as these settings will be taken by the device from the DHCP server.
3) In UseTftp enter 1
4) In Tftp URL enter ata186.net2phone.com for Firmware verson 3.0 and above else use ata.net2phone.com for firmware version below 3.0
5) In CFGInterval enter 0
Then click on Apply and restart the ATA wait for few mins and then access the web page. To check wether ATA has taken configuration details from TFTP server or not, just confirm that CFG Interval has value more than 0
6) Make UseTftp 0
7) In the UID 0 field  enter the DID no. if there is a DID no. with the account
8) In the PWD 0 field enter the password of the account entered in the User ID0 field.
9) In the UID 1 field  enter the DID no. if there is a DID no. with the account
10) In the PWD 1 field enter the password of the account entered in the User ID0 field.
11) Enter UseLoginID  as 1
12) Enter the UserIDs in the Login ID0 and LoginID1 fields if the UseLoginID field is set to 1.
13) In the GkorProxy field enter the Sip Proxy /gateway URL or ipaddress that is sip.net2phone.com
14)  Enter the Primary and Secondary DNS server addresses in the DNS1IP and DNS2IP fields.
15) After doing these settings go to the bottom of the page and click on “apply” and then click on  “Click here to reload” to reload the saved settings.
