How do I operate Three-Way
Calling (Conference Calls)?
Three-Way Calling is a free Broadband Phone feature with that allows youtoconnect two callers to one conferencecall.While on a call, press the ‘flash’ button to place the call on hold, and dial the number of the other party you wish to reach. When this party answers, press ‘flash’ again and all three parties will be connected. To disconnect the last party you have added to the call, simply press ‘flash’. This will keep your first call connected.
How do I operate Call Waiting?
Call Waiting is a free Broadband Phone feature that allows you to take calls while you are already on the phone.While on a call, when another call is received, you will hear a tone indicating a second call. To answer the second call, press the ‘flash’ button. This will switch to the second call. You may press ‘flash’ again to toggle between calls. If you are on a call and wish not to receive any other calls, you may cancel call waiting before the call begins.
Simply dial *70 before the number you wish to dial, and all incoming calls will be diverted to your voicemail. This way you can make calls without being disturbed, and without missing any calls. Call waiting will be enabled again automatically after the call ends.
How do I operate Call Forwarding?
Call Forwarding is a freefeature with which you can forward receiving calls to any number in the world. You canforward receiving calls to any number, andon specific conditions.
- You can forwardall incoming calls. Incoming calls will be diverted to the number of your choice, and will not ring on your pc-to-phone or Broadband phone. From your Broadband phone, simply dial*71*number# on the telephone keypad (for example: *71*12125553456#).Once defined, to cancel this call forwarding option,dial *72#.
- You can also choose toforward incoming calls only when there is no answer on your pc-to-phone or Broadband phone. Incoming calls will ring on the pc-to-phone or Broadband phone, and if the call is not answered, the call will bediverted to the numberof your choice instead of going to voicemail.From your Broadband phone, simply dial*73*number# on the telephone keypad (for example: *73*12125553456#).Once defined, to cancel this call forwarding option,dial 74#.
- You can also choose toforward incoming calls only when yourpc-to-phone or Broadband phone is busy. Incoming calls will ring on your pc-to-phone or Broadband phone, andonly if the line is busy, the calls will be diverted toa number of your choice instead of to voicemail. How do I operate Repeat Dial?
‘Repeat Dial’ is a free Broadband Phone feature, with which you canautomatically dial thenumber you have previously dialed. For example, if the number you have dialed is busy, operating this feature willmake automatic attemptsto dial this number until it can be reached. Once the party answers, yourBroadband phone will be called. You can pick up the phoneandthe call will connect you and the required party. The automatic attempts will be a maximum of ten tries, made every 60 seconds. To operate simply dial *66# and put the phone down. To cancel dial *65#.
How do I operate speed dial?
Speed-dial is a free Broadband Phone feature that allows you to store up to 10 of your most frequently dialed number for rapid dialing.To store the numbers dial *X*telephone number followed by the # key. Replace X with a number between 1 and 10 that will be the shortcut to dial. When you enter the telephone number, make sure to enter country code + area code + the number. For example, dial *1*12127773456#.To use speed dial, simply dial *X# and you will reach the party you are calling without having to dial the entire number. For example, dial *1# and reach the number you have programmed.To delete a speed dial entry, simply dial *X*#. For example, dial *1*# to delete the speed-dial you have programmed.
How do I operate 'Do not Disturb’?
Do not Disturb' feature allows you to set the service so that all incoming calls will be forwarded to your voicemail box instead of ringing on your pc-to-phone or Broadband phone.To enable and disable this feature online through the Member's center,simply log in using your user ID and password. Select 'My Phone Number' from the top navigation bar. Then select the "Call Forward", where you will find the 'Do not Disturb' section.To operate this feature from your Broadband Phone directly, follow the instructions below:To enable this feature, dial*40#. To disable this feature, dial*41#.
How can I retrieve my voicemail messages?
With Phonewala Green's 'My Phone Number', you get free voicemail service. Your voicemail service works the same way as traditional voicemail service.You can personalize your voicemail message and retrieve voicemail messages via telephone, the Phonewala Green member’s center or through the product you are using, PC-to-Phone dialer or anyof our Broadband phones.
To retrieve Voicemail messages follow the instructions below:UsingPhonewala Green's
Members Center
- Log into the Phonewala Green members center at www.Phonewala.com by entering your UserID and Password.
- Select 'My Phone Number' from the navigation bar and select the message you would like to hear.
Using the Broadband Phone:
- Dial *0# or 9999 + your personal Phonewala Green phone number.
- Follow the voice prompt toenter your 4-digit password followed by the# key.
- Then simply follow the voice prompts to hear your messages.
Using the PC-to-Phone dialer:
Select from your dialer 'Account' 'Retrieve Voice Mail'. This will take you to the Members Centre to listen to your messages on-line.Or
Dial 9999 + your Receiving Calls number (country code + area code + number).
- When you hear the greeting press the * sign.
- At the second voice prompt, enter your 4-digit password followed by the# key.

How can I set up and personalize my voicemail account?
With Phonewala Green's 'My Phone Number'service, you get free voicemail service. Your voicemail service works the same way as a traditional answering machine, and you can personalize your voicemail message.To set up and personalize your voicemail account and greeting:
- Enter your mailbox using the same method asretrieving your voicemail messages.
- Enter your password, followed by the pound (#) sign.
- From the main menu, press 9 to enter the User Options Menu.
- Press 1 from the User Options menu to select Greeting/Name announcements.
- Press 1 for Greetings.
- Select the Greeting of your choice from the Greeting Menu.
- Record your message.
- Once recorded, the system will automatically play back the message. Follow the voice prompts to keep the greeting, record a new greeting, or choose default.
How can I change my Voicemail PIN?
You can change your Voicemail PIN very easily yourself from the member center.Log in to the
Member Center with your UserID andpassword. Select 'My Phone Number' from the top navigation bar, then select: 'Voicemail' followed by 'Change my Voicemail Password'. Here you will be able to enter your new Voicemail PIN from 4 to 15 numerical digits. Once you have entered in your new PIN click on update to save.Alternatively, if you have no access to the site you can change your voicemail password via the telephone:
- Log in to your voicemail using the same method as to retrieve Voice Mail message.
- Press 2 from the User Options menu to modify your PIN
- Enter a new PIN from 4 and 15 digits, followed by the pound (#) key
- To confirm, re-enter your new PIN number, followed by the pound (#) key
Please be advised that changing your voicemail password will not affect your 4 digit Phonewala Green.com account password
