Billing Machine not switching on

Solution           
Check the adaptor output.  It should be around 14.2 V.  If it is OK check the ‘DC Fuse’.  If   it is blown replace it with 2 A fast blown types.

System working with Adaptor but not with Battery

Print out is Faded 

Solution
Replace the printer ribbon

Booth Display is showing wrong / illegible characters.

Solution

Insert properly the RJ-45 cable to Booth Display as well as to the main Unit. Switch OFF and ON the machine once.

Phone OFF hook / Dialing is not sensed

Solution
Check if the physical connections of exchange & telephone cable wires are correct and tight.

Paper feeding function does not operate.

Solution
Check if any paper or ribbon jammed inside the printer assembly.  If possible remove them. Or call the Service Engineer for assistance.

I have set up the Billing machine Unit. The machine works, but the booth displays “Serial Connection error”.         

Solution
Check the booth displays for proper connections. Always Display ‘J’ should be connected to BD1 and Display ‘R’ should be connected to BD2.

I have changed the EPROM but the machine displays the previous rates.

Solution
Please Factory reset the machine for new settings to take effect.

My Line1 works but Line 2 doesn’t work.

Solution           
Check for proper cabling form the device (ex. ATA, Innomedia etc) to the Billing Machine. Check for fuses in the lines L1 & L2. If blown replace it with 500 ma fuse-Fast blown type.

I have replaced the new EPROM & when I switched the Unit it is not getting ON.

Solution           
Switch off the Unit. Open the Unit and check for proper Polarity & placement of the Chip. The cutting of the chip should map with that of the socket. If reversed    shorting happens & fuse blows. Check the Fuse & replace it.
