Net 4 India to introduce new domains
INTERNET Service provider (ISP) Net 4 India is planning to to introduce 30 new country code top-level domain names (ccTLD) for increasing its marketshare in the domain registration segment. Net4Domain, part of Net 4 India, has also announed a domain transfer package which allows the customers to transfer the names from more expensive domain registrars to Net4Domains. According to Net 4 India, CEO, Jasjit Sawhney, they are able to deliver this package due to a strategic tie-up with Bulkregister.com, the second largest domain registration company in the world.
As per the scheme devised by Net 4 India, the customer has to pay a one-time fee of Rs. 650 to effect the transfer.
