of your packages?
No
- How to I become a reseller for your
company?
Please refer to the reseller section of our site
- What is a protocol?
In its simplest terms, a protocol is a language used to
carry out a specific function. These protocols are defined
in RFC's, so when an individual wants to write software,
which carries out a specific function e.g. FTP, then he
knows exactly what "language" his software must speak. In
essence it makes sure that all the different software written
to carry out the same function operate in the same basic
fashion.
- What is SMTP?
SMTP is short for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, and it
is the "language" via which most mail transfer agents communicate
when they try to deliver your email.
- What is a network?
In it's simplest terms, it is a collection of computers,
which can communicate with each other.
- What is POP?
This again is a protocol, Post Office Protocol, and is used
by servers when they store your email.
- What is Unique I.P address?
This is an IP address assigned specifically to one customer.
We do not do this, unless the customer has a specific reason
for this.
- What is POP3Email?
POP3 Email is simply email, which is stored using the POP3
protocol. It can be retrieved by connecting to that server
e.g. pop3.net4india.com and entering your username/password
for your pop3 mailbox.
- Do you give access to NNTP services
to your subscribers? Do you have your own server, if you
are running the NNTP services…or are you getting feed from
a third party?
We don't provide NNTP services as yet, but we are looking
into obtaining a feed from UUNETF directly to India. Once
this has been done we will make an announcement.
